Valerie Adair has a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. Valerie went back to school to receive her Master's Degree in Education with Reading Specialist and English as a Second Language Certifications at Holy Family University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Currently, she is studying for certification as a Supervisor of Reading.
Valerie works in the middle school environment with the special education population and teaches middle school literacy. Her passion is teaching reading in the content areas.
Valerie was part of a team who presented "Reading in the Content Areas" at the International Reading Association's 54th Annual Conference in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 2009.
