Lisa Leliaert has a passion for keeping her students engaged in meaningful literacy activities throughout the school day. With experience teaching the third through fifth grades, she currently teaches a fourth-grade class in Greenfield, Indiana.
Lisa recently completed a master's degree in Elementary Education from Indiana Wesleyan University. The main focus of her research, some of which took place in her own classroom, was reading comprehension and reading motivation.
Lisa is a member of the International Reading Association, having joined after discovering the value of ReadWriteThink.org. The connection between educational theory and actual classroom practices intrigues her. She looks forward to many more years of working with students.
