Christian W. Chun is currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Curriculum, Teaching and Learning, the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) at the University of Toronto. He is currently finishing up his dissertation on a collaborative classroom ethnography examining critical literacy pedagogies in an English for Academic Purposes (EAP) class in a university setting. In addition to his doctoral research, he is also engaged in an ongoing collaborative research project with a secondary school ESL teacher on teaching graphic novels in the ESL classroom.
