MarcoPolo Trainers are permitted to conduct training sessions on ReadWriteThink content and to use ReadWriteThink training materials, provided that there is no fee charged for the training, unless permission has been granted. Trainers also must register in the Rusticello database and maintain high quality training standards as measured by the survey scores and write-in comments. Participants who have completed an Verizon Foundation-approved "MarcoPolo Certified Trainer Program" and have agreed to the quality assurance guidelines and oversight required for MarcoPolo Certified Trainers may be designated as a "MarcoPolo Certified Trainer." Under no circumstances may any individual or organization charge for the use of ReadWriteThink online content and materials, including Professional Development resources, without prior written permission from the International Reading Association and the National Council of Teachers of English.
